It you want delicious jerk chicken or pork, the Jerk Pit is it. This place has been a staple for years! When friends and family visit from out of town, this is always a hit. Good vibes! Good food! They never disappoint. GET THE RUM PUNCH!!!

I am on the road a lot, and tend to eat out pretty regularly, from mom and pop places to white tablecloth. The Jerk Pit was one of the best meals I've had in recent memory. The chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy, and the jerk seasoning was amazing! I also consider myself a Mac N Cheese "connoisseur," and theirs was on point and had great flavor to complement the jerk seasoning. Top it off with a Red Stripe beer, and that meal, as the kids say, "Slapped."

What I do is order through one of the services for pick up. And I eat there. They have magically delicious vegan options. When ya walk up ya might smell the jerk pit it's the real deal. We love it so much we talk about it all the time. Coming the second spring time hits if not before hand. Make sure you tip cash directly (when you pick it up) if you order on an app for pick up WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Best Jamaican food I’ve had in the states. I tried their jerk chicken and beef patty with coco bread from their location at Adams Morgan and was so impressed. I’m looking forward to making the trip to college park to keep eating their delicious food.

Amazing food! I definitely recommend ordering ahead! I ordered ahead and still had to wait 25-30 min for my food after driving 30 mins to the place. I got jerk tofu, rice and peas, plantain, and coco bread. There’s seating inside if you want to sit and a few areas on the porch as well. Will def be back. Paid $16.
